Terms of Service

§ 1. General provisions

1. The website available at dartspolska.pl (hereinafter: the "Service") is operated by:

2. These Terms set out the rules for using the Service, including the rules for tournament registration, accommodation booking, use of the ranking system and the user account.
3. These Terms constitute the terms of service for the provision of electronic services within the meaning of Art. 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services (ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną).
4. Using the Service means that you have read these Terms and accept their provisions.

§ 2. Definitions

1. Service — the website at dartspolska.pl together with all its subpages.
2. Service Provider — Stowarzyszenie Darts Polska, details as in § 1 para. 1.
3. User — a natural person using the Service.
4. Consumer — a natural person entering into a legal transaction with the Service Provider not directly related to their business or professional activity (Art. 22¹ of the Polish Civil Code).
5. Tournament — a darts tournament organised or co-organised by the Service Provider.
6. Order — a declaration of intent by the User aimed at concluding a contract (tournament registration, accommodation booking).
7. Account — an individualised set of resources in the Service enabling use of the ranking system, viewing history and managing data.
8. Ranking cycle — a series of tournaments with cumulative scoring leading to a final ranking.
9. Business days — Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

§ 3. Electronic services

1. Through the Service, the Service Provider provides the following electronic services:
   • Tournament registration form — a one-off, free-of-charge service (the fee relates to the entry fee, not the electronic service). It ends upon placing an order or withdrawing.
   • Accommodation booking form — a one-off, free-of-charge service. It ends upon making a booking or withdrawing.
   • User account — a free-of-charge service for an indefinite period. It provides access to the ranking system, the player profile and tournament history.
   • Live Score — a free-of-charge service providing live match results.
   • Blog and informational content — a free-of-charge service providing news and articles.
2. Technical requirements for using the Service:
   • A device with internet access
   • A current version of a browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge
   • JavaScript and cookies enabled
   • An active e-mail account (for registration and booking)
3. Complaints regarding electronic services can be submitted to: dawid@dartspolska.pl. A complaint should include a description of the problem and contact details. The Service Provider will consider the complaint within 14 days.

§ 4. Tournament registration and payments

1. Registration for a tournament takes place via the form available on the tournament page in the Service.
2. Registration requires providing: the player's first and last name (or team name and members' names for a team tournament), an e-mail address and selecting a tournament category.
3. After completing the form and selecting a payment method, the User places the order by clicking the "Order with an obligation to pay" button.
4. The contract is concluded once the payment has been recorded. Confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided during registration.
5. The entry fee amount is set individually for each tournament and shown on the tournament page before the order is placed.
6. The player's name is added to the public list of registered participants once the payment has been recorded.

§ 5. Accommodation booking

1. Accommodation booking concerns lodging during the Polish Darts Championship (Mistrzostwa Polski w Darcie) and is made via the form in the Service.
2. A booking requires providing: the guest's first and last name, an e-mail address, a phone number, check-in and check-out dates and selecting a room type.
3. Available payment methods for accommodation:
   • Bank transfer — payment deadline: 7 days from making the booking. If payment is not made on time, the booking is automatically cancelled.
   • Online payment (Przelewy24) — immediate confirmation. The payment processing cost (1.5% of the value) is added to the booking amount.
4. Booking confirmation is sent to the guest's e-mail address once the payment has been recorded.

§ 6. Ranking system and user account

1. The Service provides a ranking system based on the Glicko-2 algorithm, presented as the "ELO Ranking". The system calculates players' ratings based on their tournament results.
2. The ranking is updated automatically once a tournament whose results have been imported into the Service has finished.
3. Creating a user account is voluntary and free of charge. The account enables: viewing the player profile, tournament history, statistics and results in ranking cycles.
4. The User may delete the account at any time by contacting the Service Provider at dawid@dartspolska.pl.
5. Tournament results (placings, match statistics) are public data, available to all visitors to the Service regardless of whether they have an account.

§ 7. Prices and payment methods

1. All prices given in the Service are gross prices expressed in Polish zloty (PLN).
2. Online payments are processed via the Przelewy24 service (PayPro S.A., ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, NIP: 7792369887). Available methods: BLIK, payment cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfers.
3. For accommodation bookings paid by bank transfer, the transfer details are provided in the booking confirmation sent by e-mail.

§ 8. Right of withdrawal from the contract

1. A Consumer who has concluded a distance contract may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving a reason and without incurring costs, subject to para. 4.
2. The 14-day period runs from the day the contract is concluded (tournament registration, accommodation booking).
3. To withdraw from the contract, the Consumer should submit an unambiguous statement (e.g. an e-mail to dawid@dartspolska.pl) containing:
   • first and last name,
   • the order or booking number,
   • a statement of withdrawal from the contract.
4. The right of withdrawal does not apply to a service fully performed with the Consumer's express consent, where the Consumer was informed before the performance began that they would lose the right of withdrawal once it was completed (Art. 38 point 1 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). This applies in particular to a tournament that has already taken place.
5. Payment is refunded within 14 days of receiving the statement of withdrawal, using the same payment channel used by the Consumer.
6. Tournament cancellation outside the right of withdrawal: Cancellation reported at least 7 days before the tournament date — a 100% refund of the entry fee. Cancellation less than 7 days before — the entry fee is non-refundable (organisational costs incurred by the Service Provider). The above does not limit the Consumer's statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days.

§ 9. Complaints

1. Complaints regarding services provided by the Service Provider can be submitted:
   • by e-mail: dawid@dartspolska.pl
   • in writing: ul. Rozłogi 26, 85-179 Bydgoszcz
2. A complaint should include: a description of the problem, contact details and a request (e.g. a refund, re-performance of the service).
3. The Service Provider considers a complaint within 14 days of receiving it. Failure to respond within this period means the complaint is upheld.

§ 10. Personal data

1. The controller of Users' personal data is the Service Provider.
2. Detailed rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Rules regarding cookies are described in the Cookie Policy.

§ 11. Final provisions

1. The applicable law is Polish law.
2. In the case of Consumers residing in another EU country, these Terms do not deprive them of the protection resulting from the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
3. The Service Provider reserves the right to change these Terms for important reasons (changes in legislation, changes in the scope of services). Users will be informed of changes at least 14 days in advance. Orders placed before a change to the Terms are processed under the previous rules.
4. These Terms enter into force on 25 February 2026.
